100% Broken Rice

100% It is called “broken rice” because the grains were broken up during the milling process. To separate the broken grains from the whole grains, mechanical dividers are used. It’s possible that broken rice has less fiber and nutrients than whole rice, but in general, it has about the same amount of energy. For the end user, the main change would be in how the food cooks, not in terms of nutrients.
